The rooms are modest and older but renovations are being done room by room and the finished ones look superb. Staff is friendly and helpful and they honestly do treat most folks like family. I wouldn't stay anywhere else between Wilson and Rocky Mount.

Treated me and my husband like family. Always greeted with a smile. Quiet location. Hardly any traffic. Good price for weekly stays.

The owner has a awesome personality. He understands how life can take you down and need help. The owner is super welcoming. The rooms are clean. He is willing to help anyone out at anytime. I highly recommend this room.

This is my second extended stay in this motel my first being over two years ago. The owners immediately recognized me by name. The rooms are clean, with microwave, fridge, and cable tv. The prices are very reasonable and they are pet friendly, of course there has to be a weight limit and your pet must be house trained. I was even given an end unit closest to the grass for my dog. I am a single female and feel very secure staying at this motel. The owners are very friendly and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking to stay a night, a week, a month, I highly recommend this motel. With all these factors taken into consideration I must give them 5 stars.

Rooms are out dated but very clean & quiet. By the end of my stay, I will have been here 2 weeks. Owner is very friendly & welcoming. My only draw back is there’s no wifi and I wish there was no smoking allowed at all in the rooms because the smell coming from the other surrounding rooms woke me up out of my sleep. Otherwise, a decent stay. I’d definitely come again.

The day to day operational staff consisted of a very friendly Mother and Son. They are very helpful with anything I needed while I was staying there and the stay was quiet and uneventful which is exactly what I'm looking for when away from home. The beds are King size and soft. The rooms are old but clean and they were doing a room by room renovation towards the end of my stay and I'm curious to know what the remodel consisted of. Anyway I spent approximately 6 months staying here when I first got home from my tour readjusting to civilian life and the owners treated me like family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking a great deal with matching service. Not the place for you honeymoon or nothing but on hwy 301 you can't find a better hotel.

I would definitely recommend staying here ! Me and My fiancé was staying at Starlight until we found bed bugs , and they were so rude to us about it , so we decided to come here and I love it , the owners are so friendly and nice , they have positive attitudes , they keep there hotel rooms clean , wash the sheets everyday , put new towels in the room , clean the doors and all ! so yes I’d definitely recommend staying here !
